It's Erica's Birthday !!!!

Today we were given a sketch and colors for Erica' s Birthday Card !!!

I used Art Philosophy to cut the Cupcake and then added the matching stamp. I embossed it with WOW embossing Powders. I cut the Birthday Banner from MS Birthday Cake art at 1" 3x's  I cut from Cricut  Classic Font a 4" oval and scalloped oval. I uesed a cuttle bug folder to emboss the card. I also used Pink by design stamps on the inside. Erica will be in Ca for a visit in a week so she will be given the card with a gluten free cupcake !!!  Thanks for Sharing Birthday wishes with Erica today....  Happy Friday !!!     Last summer my husband and I went on a cruise to Alaska !! I have lots of pages to scrap. So I m starting with one of my top day trips of the cruise. I bought a ton of scrapbook supplies . This one is from a kit on Carnival cruise line.

 I cut "Whale of a Time" from Life's a beach 5 1/2" I also outlined it first with a black Cricut marker.

I used MS Birthday Cake Art Cartridge for the  Banner cut @ 8" on Chipboard and Cardstock. The  Letter's  "lucky " from Art Nouvea Cartridge  Font 1 cut @ 3". The Rainbow and Pot of Gold is from CCR St Patricks Day cut @ 4" . I cut them on white card stock and embossed it with Suzy West WOW! embossing powders. I just got them and fell in love with all the colors. Then added some bling and ribbon to hang it .

Erica's Craft Room Card Creating Tuesday !!!

I  enjoyed making this card...I used CCR ( cricut craft room ) and New Orleans Party digital download. I cut the mask in all 4 layers 4" and the sign 2"...on the sign I liked the font better so I used it instead of a cut out layer over the base layer. I used the cuttle bug on the Stipe paper (Best Creation doubled  sided paper "a walk in a garden ") The deep purple is core paper.  I used the same folder and embossed then distress it. The sign is the same paper as the stipe  just the back side. I wish I knew the brand of the fine glitter paper its very smooth to the touch and cut like butter in the machine ( E2) .

 Here is my Layout for today ... The Theme is Baking. I had cute pictures of my daughter to add but my photo printer would not work :(

 I used From my Kitchen for the Title 4" and the silver bowl 2"

I had fun dressing the doll to look like my daughter. I used Everyday Paper Dolls at 8" added my peachy keen stamp for the face , put the chef hat thru the cuttlebug and add shimmer mist .

I used the Imagine to make my paper

and Word Collage filled in with Snapshot Everyday 8" x10.5" 

Then I cut my box From Sweet Tooth Boxes ( fit to page) 11.25"

 Then the inset was cut 6.25" to hold the cup cake I still have to bake!
( GF/CF/SF  Chocolate Banana w/ Peanut butter frosting) 

 Here is the Finished box w lid (6.5")   I Decorated it with  Love Struck Cartridge (Hearts 2.5" / 4") then I added ink and Ribbon (I'm making 25 boxes for my kids classes on V day)

My Cricut Craft Room (Erica's Craft Room) Theme " Martha Stewart Cartridge"

Today I worked with MS Seasonal Cake Art Cartridge

I'm making  an 6x6 Mini Album for My daughter ... This is going to be the cover page..She loves to bake with Mom and Dad...

On page 68 I choose The Flower boarder and welded two 1 1/2" images together on the gyspy.  Then I on page 39 I choose the metal and cut at 2" added some stickles and embossed the cupcakes. The Paper is from Best Creation "Sixteen Candles"

Erica's Cricut Craft Room IMAGINE-ation! Mondays!

Happy  Chinese New Year 

On Mondays we use the Imagine, E2, Mini, or Cricut CraftRoom 

Today I used Cricut CraftRoom and  CCR Exclusive Cartridges 

3D Chinese Lanterns

Chinese Character's

I Choose Lantern #6 ( you can download a digital handbook for instructions at cricut.com)

 I cut the lantern base 2x at 9" then glued them together and scored at the Marks and glued together...

 The top was cut at 10 1/2 " wide to fit the top ...

 I then choose Chinese character "Friend" cut 4x at 3 1/2" and a black cord to hang it from ...

 Here it is the finished Lantern I added gold stickles ....

These are for Classroom Decorations today ....

"Year of the Dragon" is cut 5" from Pagoda ;  2012 is cut from Doddletype 1"

Here are all 6 Chinese Character's cut out at 4" and then I put the name of Character  on a card using Cutting Up cartridge at 1" in CCR to weld together  ....

Erica's Cricut Craft Room IMAGINE-ation! Mondays!

Today I made a card for my Dad's Birthday ...

I used Imagine More Cards Cartridge 

 Because I used the Imagine to Cut and Print to save me a lot of time I got to take out my other tools to embellish the card. I printed and cut 2 sheets to work with.

 I used Embossing folders for the background ( then added TH Distress Ink)  and the brown scallop... I used clear embossing power with an embossing pen for the cupcake wrapper. I used glue and chunky glitter and heat gun to make the frosting. For the candle I used 3 embossing powders.

 Here is the finished card and envelope...

The match set... I hope he likes it ... Happy Birthday  Dad !!
